Key Responsibilities

 

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Identify and develop market intelligence data sources to help better understand the business environment within our key markets: water, energy, communications and transportation
  • Cultivate intelligence for key organizational projects including acquisitions, new product development, major capital projects, significant change initiatives, etc.
  • Communicate key insights to senior leadership through presentations, dashboards, reports, etc.
  • With cross-functional teams, create executable business strategies to sell solutions within key markets
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on discrete market events, develop ‘expert network’ for input & analysis
  • Collaborate with Innovation team to analyze and deepen understanding of ‘edge’ opportunities

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5 years experience (ideally in fields such as market or competitive intelligence, management consulting, etc.)
  • Experience with databases/data warehouse applications (Snowflake), ERP systems (Microsoft AX), business intelligence platforms (Tableau) and Microsoft Office applications required.
