Job Summary

 

Assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes for Barrette’s manufacturing facility. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in assessing and analyzing current manufacturing processes
  • Assist in creation of new products, work processes, and any other manufacturing needs
  • Assists in developing and drafting a plan for all manufacturing procedures
  • Supports cost saving measures & efficient quality control processes
  • Track and analyze inventory records
  • Design and fabricate new tools, machines, equipment, etc.
  • Frequently test all equipment for safety and effectiveness
  • Repair or redesign malfunctioning equipment
  • Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary based on the needs of the business

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
  • Computer proficient; confident using data analysis programs and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using CAD and CAM software
  • Master problem solver familiar with root cause analysis
