Position Overview

Wage: Starting at $20 + /hr. DOE w/ potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Demonstrates good performance, safety, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Load and unload inventory.
  • Perform general customer service tasks.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Operate front end loader.
  • Perform monthly inventory counts.
  • Answer customer questions regarding material and sale items.
  • Help with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of yard.
  • Assist other employees and departments as needed.
  • Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic Computer knowledge
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge on performing customer transactions.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.     
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks.
  • Ability to frequently lift heavy objects.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
  • Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date. 

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Construction and Landscaping material knowledge preferred.
  • Previous equipment operation experience highly preferred.
