Position Overview
This role aims to support the Europe Division in data analysis across several areas of HR to support insights and decision-making. You will be part of the Europe Talent team (7 people), where you will work closely with everyone to support their analysis needs (Talent management, I&D, Systems, Recruitment, L&D). Your contribution will help CRH attract, retain, and develop an international, diverse, and high-performing workforce.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Support the Talent, L&D, I&D and Recruitment team in their analysis
  • Provide key insights in those areas based on our data sources
  • Develop an excellent relationship with the HRIS SuccessFactors team to ensure that the system adequately supports business requirements and reporting capability.
  • Maintain the talent database, including reviewing data, reporting on trends, and preparing management information or dashboards as required. 
  • Collect and coordinate talent data for the talent pipeline. You will be comfortable with data and able to analyse large volumes to identify trends and create actionable insights.
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly Global HR metrics – building on standard reports provided by the HRIS team.
  • Understand how to create and run reports from various sources including the HRIS, the applicant tracking systems, learning management system, survey tools, performance, etc.
  • Suggest and implement innovative ways of processing our data (digitalisation) to work smarter and provide solid relevant insights
  • Keep current with industry developments, trends and best practices in Talent Management, researching and suggesting enhancements or new initiatives to meet business needs.  
  • Operate with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Very proficient in Excel - building and working with complex formulas.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint - building clear and pragmatic slides, dashboards and visuals for management.
  • High level of English communication skills, both written and verbal.


Experience / Education
You are/have:

  • Educated to a Bachelor’s degree level in HR or Data Analytics 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience with a successful first experience as a Talent Analyst
