Summary: 

 

The Vice President of Customer Solutions is a leadership role responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, drive growth, and ensure seamless solutions for customers within the cement industry. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including sales, operations, and Sapphire Americas, to achieve business objectives.

 

What you’ll be contributing: 

 

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer solutions strategy aligned with the overall business goals of the cement company.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive continuous improvement in customer solutions.
  • Understand future supply scarcity to develop products that will meet the needs of the customer and the growth ambitions of the company.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for our evolving product portfolio that will create customer stickiness.
  • Work with commercial teams to foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements for the future with tightening the supply of SCMs and CO2 reduction ambitions.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that add additional value for our customers and the company.
  • In collaboration with the solutions team, work with Sapphire Americas and operations to develop unique products that will meet the needs of customers based on innovative technologies and SCM availability in the respective markets. 
  • Work closely with each department to ensure the seamless execution of new innovative technologies that create new solutions and products that meet customer's needs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing customer solutions team, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure team members excel in their roles.
  • Need to be able to influence internally and externally to drive the change needed to meet customer's needs and company goals.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the team and across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) creating new products that will be accepted up and down the value chain.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions, implement improvements, and ensure the team meets or exceeds performance targets.
  • Drive innovation in customer solutions, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of customer solutions processes.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the customer solutions department, optimizing resource allocation to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor. 

 

To succeed in this position, you will need

 

  • Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc 
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's Degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with a proven track record of successful customer solutions management and revenue growth. 
  • Extensive experience in a leadership role with proven experience in driving change and improving team performance
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to work across different business functions
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Experience in process mapping and redesign and organization effectiveness
  • Domestic travel up to 50%.
