Job Description Summary

This is a position for West Virginia Paving and is responsible for effective and consistent use of operating platforms, including construction accounting procedures.

Duties

• Coordinate meetings associated with projects.

• Monitor schedules and resources as they relate to the coordination of project specific issues.

to ensure a cohesive operational unit.

• Assist Area & Project Managers in project related issues as needed.
• Represent the company at project related meetings as requested.
• Assist Area & Project Managers with Client and/or Subcontractor relationships.
• Manage accurate construction accounting reporting to the back office.
• Send out Weekly Construction Schedules
• Ensure contractual requirements are achieved.
• Lead performance initiatives.
• Manage Purchase Order and Subcontractor Billings
• Daily Job Costs Review
• P6 schedules on required projects
• Promote safe operating procedures through employee engagement to identify, report, and correct safety concerns.
• Utilize KPI’s to evaluate performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate with General Manager and department staff on issues affecting personnel, maintenance, production efficiency, product quality, current and upcoming projects, and competition.
• Responds to employee and customer related issues and project delivery challenges.
• Participates in weekly safety meetings and weekly management team meetings.
• Prepare invoice for subcontract work to be invoiced.
• Verify subcontractor invoices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft software operating environment required and knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are required to interact appropriately with owners/customers.
