Job Description Summary


Oldcastle Infrastructure Inc. (OII) is looking for an ERP Master Data Management (MDM) solution architect to support the business teams by improving master data quality and maximize the value of data assets. This individual partners with Master Data team members to recommend solutions to improve processes.  Serves as an internal consultant and works with the SAP implementation team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Define and execute MDM strategy that focuses on Master Data Management, Data Standardization, Data Quality, Data Assurance, Data Discovery, Data Enablement, and Data Usage for the enterprise.
  • Oversee and manage data extraction, conversion, cleansing, testing, and loading of master/transactional data.
  • Work with SMEs and end-users to determine the data requirements and data conversion objects for various SAP modules.
  • Translate business requirements into a robust data design that is compliant, efficient, and effective.
  • Develop and oversee ongoing MDM Master data governance, data quality, and collaborate with business teams to ensure timely updates and access to data assets.
  • Develop automated solutions and processes to manage bulk data updates
  • Translate user’s requests into application system solutions. Analyze system user requirements to define and design and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications.
  • Leverage business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement.
  • Coordinate the testing of master data with peers and internal customers to ensure business requirements are achieved.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other systems analysts, business teams, and implementation partner resources.
  • Define and develop best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations within
  • Co-Ordinate/develop user documentation and user training.
  • Support all aspects of UAT, cutover activities, Provide KT and hyper-care.


Required Skills/Education


  • 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management
  • Experience with various data management toolsets for data extraction, cleansing and loading.
  • Proficiency in leading Planning Sessions for complex Data Migration Tracks on large and complete Transformation initiatives.
  • Good knowledge and project experience in multiple SAP modules
  • Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior-level executives.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong business relationship management skills.
  • Excellent team-building, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent discipline


Preferred Skills


  • Hands-on experience in SAP or other ERP implementation.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with  ETL tools for SAP deployment.
  • Experience in Hybrid/agile or Scrum methodology
