Position Overview


Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Supply Chain to lead Strategic Category Management, Operational Procurement, and Transportation initiatives across our national business.  In this critical role you will identify value creating opportunities across our five business units then develop and execute a supply chain strategy consistent with our culture, business objectives, and continuous improvement / cost management efforts.


Partnering both with the business and cross-functional teams you will lead all national Supply Chain activities in pursuit of advancements in efficiency and cost reduction through planning & resource utilization, inventory management, sourcing / procurement & supplier management, and logistics. You will also identify and lead supply chain projects that drive operational efficiency as well as establishment of best practices which result in year over year improvement in the cost, quality, and service of the goods the business receives and delivers.    




  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Regional Supply Chain managers to transform a decentralized supply chain into an integrated, hybrid model better able to support standardization of processes and systems into best practices which maximize balance between regional performance and national strategy.
  • Develop strategic initiatives for organizational supply chain productivity /cost reduction including material spend, inventory levels, working capital, resource utilization / capacity planning, supplier strategy, supplier consolidation plans, and supply risk contingency planning.
  • Manage Supply Chain relationships with internal and external customers by monitoring, trending, analyzing and aligning their key performance indicators through supply chain dashboard metrics. Maximize key supplier relationships by leveraging group volume and efficiency to support ideal service levels.
  • Regularly interface with both Executive Leadership and Regional Management to drive engagement and adoption of processes and programs to support our commitment to continuous improvement and cost reduction.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related degree or the equivalent in relevant experience (MBA Preferred)
  • 15+ years demonstrated experience leading a multi-site supply chain organization successfully managing a $500m+ annual spend procurement function which utilizes international imports of materials and /or finished goods.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing best-in-class supply chain/materials management practices and strategic sourcing processes.
  • Operational experience in manufacturing, distribution, building materials, mining or construction sectors.


Knowledge/Skill Requirements


  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain a wide range of multi-site relationships at all levels of the organization utilizing influence, communication, facilitation, and presentation to effectively define and manage positive change.
  • Thorough understanding of financial management and procurement’s impact on results.
  • Extensive knowledge of materials management techniques as well as global sourcing importing strategies.
  • Problem solver able to consistently think strategically, act with urgency, and uphold our high ethical standards.
