Position Overview


The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Corporate HR, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams in participating in multiple HR functions including reporting, data entry, maintenance, communications, and program planning. Reporting into the Director, Human Resources, this role is based in the Atlanta, GA office.


Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


  • Providing data entry and maintenance for corporate employee employment data, training data, and employee personal data.
  • Assisting with on-boarding and offboarding activities.
  • Responding to employee inquiries and employment verifications.
  • Collaborating with the team to coordinate training programs and meetings both in person and virtually.  Includes reserving space, ordering meals, ordering materials, etc.
  • Sending communications to participants including invites, follow up reminders, post completion surveys, etc.
  • Maintaining the SharePoint sites for AMAT HR, Performance and Frontline Leadership Program Facilitator resources. Ensure all data and information is current and that page is visually appealing, easy to use and valuable to field HR representatives. 
  • Performing a variety of tasks with the LMS (record completions, launch/assign learning, run reports, etc.).
  • Providing administrative support to the Corporate HR, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Providing ad hoc support of AMAT Corporate projects, including but not limited to:
    • o Managing ad hoc data requests to the field.
    • o Assisting in the consolidation, review, and analysis of data in support of ongoing projects.
    • o Assisting with maintenance of electronic databases and spreadsheets.
    • o Assisting with project management, timeline, and status tracking.
  • Managing payment of department bills and divisional chargebacks and work with AP department to ensure timely payment.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.




  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or comparable discipline preferred or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Two or more years of related experience in an office setting, performing administrative tasks.
  • One or more years of Human Resources or Payroll experience preferred.
  • Viewpoint or HRIS experience a plus.


Work Requirements


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
