Position Overview

 

The Process Manager role will evaluate, develop and implement harmonized standard procurement processes for the region in alignment with the global organization to enable efficiencies, effective controls and company-wide processes optimization or improvements as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Quickly develop a knowledge of all company procurement systems, processes and critical data elements and standards
  • Gain knowledge of Company procurement strategies 
  • Responsible for current state assessment, gap resolution and task execution/deliverables for assigned area of responsibilities.
  • Ensures availability and standardization of adequate procurement processes templates
  • Develop systems policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities
  • Maintain close cooperation with other functional areas such as, Legal and Compliance, operations, etc
  • Maintain alignment with Sr. Procurement Leadership and the IT organization to ensure standard approach and deliverables are achieved.
  • Develop/Update training material as required and deliver training as required.
  • Lead/manage interactions with key stakeholders
  • Solve complex problems in which analysis of data or situations require in-depth evaluation
  • Remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts; identify and communicate solutions to key problems in the process area
  • Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and assigned geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives.
  • Assist and/or lead the update of department Procedures and Policies accordingly.
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company. 
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • Other duties as required by management.

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience

 

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain Management/Business or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of Procurement experience  
  • Knowledge and understanding of Lean and 6 Sigma principles is a plus

 

Work Requirements

 

  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

  • Strong detail orientation and process improvement focus with analytical capabilities.
  • Strong collaborative skills with ability to effectively engage key stakeholders.
  • Demontrated ability to create presentations, organization communications and business cases.
  • Skilled at building relationships and networks with cross functional teams in a matrix organization, including at the leadership levels.
  • A solid understanding of the business and significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both Procurement and the business.
