Job Summary
The Customer Digital Experience Product Owner is responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving digital customer-facing experiences across Salesforce. This role owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for customer digital touchpoints—ensuring experiences are intuitive, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes such as customer satisfaction, adoption, and revenue growth.
Working closely with business stakeholders, CRM delivery teams, IT, UX, analytics, and change management, this Product Owner serves as the primary conduit between customer needs and technical delivery. The role balances business value, customer experience, and technical feasibility, translating strategy into actionable features and prioritized backlogs.
Job Location
This is a remote position, but candidates must be located in the state of Georgia within driving distance to the corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta.
Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Serve as the product owner for Salesforce Customer Digital Experience, defining the roadmap, strategy, and optimization initiatives to maximize business value.
- Lead efforts to improve Experience Cloud Sites, Service Cloud Cases, Marketing Cloud and Pardot
- Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, and IT to refine business processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance standards.
- Evaluate Salesforce releases and AppExchange add-ons, identifying opportunities to leverage new features and reduce technical debt.
Product Development & Execution
- Drive execution of the Customer Digital Experience roadmap; act as the conduit between business stakeholders, CRM developers, and IT.
- Spearhead development of features from discovery through release, ensuring CDX solutions are optimized at every iteration.
- Lead backlog refinement for Experience Cloud and adjacent systems, ensuring prioritization balances sales efficiency, revenue goals, and technical feasibility.
- Write user stories and define acceptance criteria specifically for CDX features
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with business digital and marketing teams on shared capabilities and joint roadmaps
- Partner with change management and training teams to enable sales adoption of digital enhancements, including developing rollout plans and impact analyses.
Governance & Reporting
- Provide executive leadership updates on CDX initiatives including scope, roadmap progress, and measurable outcomes.
- Define and track product KPIs such as customer adaption and useability
- Proactively manage CDX-related risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring quick resolution and alignment across business units.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years Salesforce platform experience, including Sales & Service Clouds with extensive experience in Experience Cloud.
- 2+ years of hands-on configuration with Salesforce Experience Cloud Sites including a deep understanding of:
- Site creation and management using Workspaces/Builder
- Customer Portals
- Partner Portals
- Site Security Models
- Experience integrating with Salesforce Sites, Marketing Cloud and Pardot
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; Certified Experience Cloud Consultant strongly valued.
- 5+ years of Product Owner, Business Analyst, or IT role with Agile and SDLC experience.
- Skilled at managing complex projects with interdependencies across sales, finance, and IT.
- Strong customer orientation, with the ability to prioritize business needs, manage trade-offs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify system inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
Compensation
- Base Salary - $120,000 - $150,000 per year
