Position Summary

 

This position will be responsible for building and managing the marketing communication group with a focus on initiatives that drive growth for the organization. This individual will develop and execute a strategic plan focusing on process enhancements required to support the OI sales organization and overall customer experience.   This includes but is not limited to content standardization, branding, digital tool development, social media execution, advertising & promotions, new product introductions, trade show plan development and public relations.  He/she will be responsible for the Marcom Budget and vendor strategy required to support the organization.  Successful candidates will have 7+ years of relevant experience in a Marketing Communications Role. Candidates should have experience building marketing teams and managing external agencies.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversight of the marketing operation of the business
  • Establish ideal customer targets and develop appropriate messaging and content
  • Digital Strategy Development and Execution
  • Partner with external agencies to develop strategies for web, social, digital
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand image across platforms
  • Lead social media initiatives
  • Lead trade show plan and ensure successful execution
  • Manage PR relationships
  • Build and lead a Marketing team over time

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communications preferred
  • 7 or more years of relevant in a B2B environment
  • Experience building and managing a team
  • Agency management experience
  • Field marketing experience
  • Relationships in PR
