Job Summary

 

The Sr. Finance Systems & Process Analyst will lead the introduction, application and adherence to Data Governance concepts and behaviors across our data and analytics solutions for inventory items, customers and suppliers. This position will drive and actively participate in data-focused projects that require a data governance and quality point-of-view.

 

  • Collaborate as a data governance expert with key partners and the business to understand requirements and find creative and flexible solutions to resolve problems
  • Exercise strong leadership working both independently and with project teams to understand, research, determine, document and communicate data governance & quality direction
  • Utilize deep knowledge of data needs/requirements and continually expand business understanding as you work to determine effective solutions to data governance and quality challenges, some of which may create issues for the business
  • Utilize strong influencing and communication skills as you will need to direct analytics and business partners towards resolution of data governance and quality problems
  • Embrace and lead change effectively and cultivate an environment of data driven thinking, innovation, experimentation, rigor and continuous improvement.
  • Take an active role in data cleansing initiatives and get involved in detailed work

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-divisional manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to work with business and analytics leaders to identify and align on workable business solutions to data quality requirements and challenges
  • Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
  • Self – starter with motivation and ability to manage change
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Strong organizational, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience with M3/Lawson a plus
