Job Summary

 

We are seeking a talented Full Stack eCommerce Engineer to join our Digital Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web solutions for both B2B and B2C applications. You will work closely with various stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, integrating with advanced technologies like ERP, CRM, PIMS, MarTech, and DataLake. If you have a strong development background, hands-on experience with SaaS platforms like BigCommerce, Shopify, or CommerceTools, and are excited about contributing to our digital transformation, we would love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and implement web solutions for B2B and B2C.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Customize and extend web functionality through API integrations, app integrations, and composable architecture.
  • Implement best practices in web development to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Utilize Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Translate business requirements into system components, including capabilities, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and constraints.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to design cohesive project strategies and facilitate effective collaboration throughout development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with other systems.
  • Provide development support for internal and customer-facing environments, particularly related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, and platform administration for peak performance.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce web development, more recently in B2B.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms such as BigCommerce and WordPress.
  • Experience with AWS development tools, including AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Experience in integrating web platforms with other systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and third-party tools.
  • Experience in composable and Headless architecture principles, and familiarity with frameworks such as MACH.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, with knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and ERP integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and creative.
  • BigCommerce BigDev, AWS, and other relevant certifications would be a plus.
