Reporting to the Customer Invoicing Supervisor, the Bilingual Billing Associate (English/French) will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Daily review & processing of SAP Billing reports and incoming adjustment requests.
  • Review and process Debit & Credit memos.
  • Ensure all shipments are invoiced timely and accurately.
  • Prepare & distribute invoices to customers.
  • Respond and help resolve inquiries from internal departments as well as external customers in a timely manner.
  • Review, analyze & resolve billing investigations, correction of errors and other billing related discrepancies as required.
  • Coordinate with other Shared Service teams, IT, and Business Units to deliver seamless service to customers.
  • Work closely with the A/R Teams, Business Units, Logistics, Accounting and IT to resolve billing and posting errors.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls.
  • Coordinate & support auditor requests/requirements as assigned.
  • Coordinate process documentation updates (internal and external) as required.
  • Participate and support month-end and year-end activities.
  • Continuously improve operations & processes.
  • Identify training needs and participate in Business Unit and team training.
  • Assist the Supervisor in continuously monitoring Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and French (written & spoken).
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field and/or 2+ years of experience within a similar role.
  • Accounts Receivable or Payable experience is an asset.
  • SAP or other ERP experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools with a solid focus on Microsoft Excel.
