Position Description:
Bilingual Invoice Processing Representative
Position Overview
Provide a brief summary of the main purpose & objective of the position.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Accounts Payable

  • Review, verify and process around 200 vendor invoices daily
  • Assist in the resolution of invoice processing for those issues not resolved in the customer service center
  • Monitor outstanding approval requests 
  • Address vendor and employee inquiries
  • Prepare accounting related-reports and spreadsheets as required
  • Reconcile vendor statements upon request
  • Oversee automated matching process and escalate matching issues

Continuously improve operations

  • Identify and suggest process and system enhancements for continuous improvement measures within own team and for raising similar opportunities across end-to-end accounting process
  • Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
  • Perform at level that assists in attaining overall and team-level performance measures and goals

Interface with other Shared Service teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities
Coordinate with other Shared Service teams to deliver seamless service to customers
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and initiatives outlined in the Health and Safety manual


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • Post-Secondary degree in accounting or other business related field 

Work Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in accounting/financial functions 
  • Manufacturing industry or shared services experience an asset
  • SAP experience an asset
  • Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (MS Office, etc.)
  • Bilingual (English and French) written and oral required

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Detail oriented
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to assess and resolve a problem within a defined framework
  • Able to meet deadlines and prioritize work
  • Skilled and experienced in Customer Service

Work Environment

  • This position is based out of Longueuil, QC in an office setting.
