Job Summary


The Human Resource Administrator will perform a variety of human resources duties under direct supervision of Human Resource Manager. HR Generalist requires basic knowledge of personnel policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, AA/EEOC, training and staffing.


Job Responsibilities


  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Work closely with management & employees to improve work relationships

  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management

  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.

  • Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Conduct recruitment effort for all non-exempt personnel; extend employment offers.

  • Conduct on-boarding for new hires, including verification of I-9’s and benefit overview.

  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

  • Supporting employee uniform program with Cintas, including mats and sanitizing dispensers.

  • Coordinate visitors with person responsible for visitor.

  • Manage Converse employee directory.

  • Ensure key cards to building are issued when needed.

  • Coordinate lunches, parties, employee events, Community Service Projects.

  • Collaborate with safety, finance and purchasing departments accordingly.

  • Communicate with payroll department as needed.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


Job Requirements


  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 2+ years experience in a human resources department

  • Must have experience processing/auditing I-9’s

  • Ability to communicate effectively & respectfully with all levels of management

  • Ability to work independently as well as a team environment

  • Versatility, flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Detail oriented and highly organized
