Summary

Oversee Raw Material and Finished Goods Inventory Levels.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manages the manufacturing schedules for the three plants
  • Conduct daily cycle counts on Raw Materials and Finished Goods
  • Admin support for Monthly Raw Material Inventory and FGI
  • Coordinate inventory reconciliation of finished goods inventory
  • Assist with annual buildup plans and adjust for seasonality
  • Order, receive and enter bulk raw materials into the MRP system while analyzing the data
  • Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures for work standardization
  • Work with dispatch to ensure availability of finished goods for shipping requirements
  • Coordinate transfers with other plants for products not manufactured
  • Communicate need to resale suppliers and coordinate deliveries
  • Coordinate with Production Department to ensure timely Shipping requirements – communicate inventory levels and shortages as necessary
  • Coordinate and communicate with operations, sales, and customer on all MTO orders to provide smooth transitions and prompt deliveries when requested.
  • Coordinate, order and track molds to match production needs
  • Interface with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing of all raw materials
  • Organize electronic files, shipping and receiving records, and filing of other information
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

 

Qualifications 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn additional software as needed
  • Navigate and utilize ERP and MRP systems – Lawson knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb customer service orientation
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work closely with, coach and develop others
  • Flexibility and creativity in meeting the needs of the team
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • LEAN and Continuous Improvement experience is a plus
  • Forklift operational skills is a plus (training will be provided)
  • Ability to operate Jockey truck is a plus (training will be provided)
