Job Summary


Responsible for the overall performance of the business to include establishing budget goals, maintaining financial progress, ensuring compliance with all local and federal environmental responsibilities; growing the business and leading a competent and engaged team.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilites 


  • Ensure compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Recruit and develop a strong staff.
  • Ensure excellence in plant fundamentals.
  • Ensure the business meets expected financial returns.
  • Engage in activities designed to grow the business.
  • Operate a business with total honesty, integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Direct and monitor the work of direct reports in accordance to business plan and strategy.
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.





  • Bachelors degree (B.A.) minimal; Master’s degree (M.A.) a plus; or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Prior production management experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior P & L experience is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere.
  • Demonstrate ability to delegate and/or authority where applicable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to relate with every level of the organization, vendors and clients effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills with abilities in Windows environment and knowledge  of Microsoft applications.
  • Able to apply reasoning variables required to oversee a multi-million dollar business.
  • Must have basic chemistry and mathematical skills with the knowledge to apply algebra and geometry elements to specific situations.
  • Ability to read, interpret and compose documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Conduct himself/herself with integrity and ethical practices.
