Job Summary 

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® is building new IT capabilities to enable business value and support the overall strategy.  Reporting to the Business Partner Organization, the IT Manager, Architectural Glass Business Partner role is focused on the strategic interface with stakeholders for business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, project delivery and relationship management. In this role, responsibilities include delivery of training, projects, stakeholder management, business integration and business satisfaction in areas supporting architectural glass functions within the business.


Here's What You’ll Get to Do: 

  • Develop solution concepts and business cases for new IT investments
  • Manage and assist stakeholders in the business and within IT with prioritization of requests and projects; identify resource needs, determine costs and scope, communicate impacts and schedules
  • Provide guidance, design process flows and execute strategic directives on new capabilities
  • Drives collaboration among business leaders and other functional tracks, identifies obstacles to success and provides highly effective solutions to keep projects on time and on budget 
  • Build and maintain a professional, customer-focused relationship with the business and IT
  • Assist customer adoption and delivery of complex services throughout the entire delivery process as a seamless experience
  • Demonstrates functional and technical expertise across functional tracks by leveraging experience and industry best practices to aid in design and implementation of software systems
  • Practice excellent analytical problem-solving skills – ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions


Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, or other relevant discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience with project and program management, working with project managers in planning, completing large and small projects, and creating and delivering technology solutions in a consulting organization, IT organization or for a software company managing and delivering IT projects
  • Detailed business process knowledge across the Architectural Glass domain
  • Working knowledge with IT software evaluation, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support using the ITIL framework
  • Excellent relationship, change management, and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required
  • Experience with SAP and the functional modules supporting the business functions of this role preferred
  • Experience in the Fenestration industry a major plus
