Arkhola CSR Job Description Summary:

It will be the duty and responsibility of the Customer Service Representative(CSR) to answer the phone promptly with a pleasant and accommodating tone of voice, take the customers order/s in a detailed, timely, and professional manner while negotiating delivery times and recording accurate product information on that order. The CSR will also promote value-added products and, upon finishing the order, will completely repeat the order back to the customer, ask the customer about any future orders and thank the customer for their business.


CSR Job Expectations:

  • To have a pleasant and accommodating service voice over the phone and always demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude.
  • To give the customer they are talking to 100% of their attention all the way through completion of the order.
  • To be totally honest and forthright with the customer.
  • To build rapport with customers that will establish good working and long-lasting business relationships.
  • To make every effort to accommodate the customers’ request or needs and negotiate acceptable delivery times with them without losing their order.
  • To be responsible for accurate addresses and delivery instructions, geo-mapping the order and making sure all the information comes across correctly.
  • To be proactive by calling customers in advance of late delivers or delays in service.
  • To document Lost Order opportunities if dispatch is unable to accommodate the customer.
  • To actively review delivery progress by paying attention to what’s happening on the tracking screen with the dispatcher/shipper.
  • To keep the customer service/dispatch manager and sales department informed of problems or concerns throughout the day that may require their knowledge or attention.
  • To assist in any other duties assigned or related to these previous expectations.



  • Two years or more of direct customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the concrete and construction industry preferred but not required.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows applications. 
  • Accurately type 50+ words per minute.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and telephone skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform well in a small team environment.
  • Multi-tasking required.


Work Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Report to the office dressed appropriately according to company policy ready to work at the designated start time.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Must be willing to work off hours, nights, weekends and occasionally holidays when necessary
