Job Summary
The IT Operations Manager will help lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT operations across various sites, ensuring alignment with our IT strategy and business objectives. This role involves managing teams, both directly and indirectly, to identify and implement improvements, set objectives, and find cost-effective solutions to operational challenges.
Job Responsibilities

- Lead IT operations of specific sites, effectively managing scope, resources, and outcomes of IT hardware, software, and services
- Manage IT assets, including maintenance of inventory, life cycle management, and related documentation
- Oversee the implementation of strategic plan objectives to ensure IT infrastructure meets existing and future business requirements
- Oversee service desk operations for specific sites, delivering efficient and effective outcomes
- Participate in IT budget activities, including the creation of an annual budget that adheres to IT strategy that brings value to the business
- Prepare project plans, review scope of work documents, and other documentation for IT projects and associated efforts
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of on-premises and cloud-based services
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with technology, software, and services providers to secure IT products and services
- Lead as a subject matter expert, preparing reports and routinely communicating with leadership regarding pertinent IT activities, Cyber Security status, and other topics related to hardware and software incidents
- Participate in Corporate IT afterhours on-call rotation for critical system outages
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience is required
- 5+ years of experience managing IT operations is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience managing people is required
- Prior experience managing vendor relationships and managing projects is required
- Experience deploying or managing SDWAN and VPN networking technologies
- Exposure to products from F5 Networks, Cisco Meraki, Cisco ASA X series firewalls, and Dell
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to influence, motivate, develop, and coach people
- Ability to build and foster effective business relationships with peers and other departments
- Ability to maintain proficiency with rapidly evolving technologies
- Strong organizational skills: ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work irregular hours or overtime as needed
