Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Leader to join our dynamic team. As the Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machine maintenance, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and demonstrate proficiency in machine setup and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of injection molding machines
• Create and conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on injection molding equipment to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule and execute machine maintenance, ensuring seamless transitions between different product runs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with injection molding machines, implementing effective solutions to maintain continuous operation
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to improve machine performance, longevity, and safety standards
• Utilize automation experience to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the integration of advanced technologies in injection molding operations
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of critical components to minimize downtime during maintenance activities
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development
• Collaborate with the production and tool room teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall operational effectiveness
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of the injection molding maintenance process

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Leader in injection molding operations
• In-depth knowledge of injection molding machines, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong background in automation processes related to injection molding equipment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and protocols
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance in an industrial setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Physical Environment

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt
