Interns - Transportation New Hampshire: Pike is hiring college students to work as interns within the Construction division for the summer. Through an organized and structured process, the selected interns will be exposed to and trained on many aspects of our business operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Dispatcher and office personnel to assist with any needs in getting haulers set up and maintained
• Liaison with Dispatch, Construction, Operations, Scales, and Hired Haulers regarding safety and performance
• Provide specialized rates as requested by sales or management
• Assist the Dispatch Manager in procuring hauler assets to meet day-to-day needs
• Field safety evaluations
• Participate in daily updates and reviews with Dispatch Team

Requirements:

• The selected candidate must be enrolled (planning to enroll) in a college degree program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
• Ability to write reports and analyze raw data
• Extended Hours with possible night and weekend work as well as overnights

• Willingness to travel to other Pike Locations through Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont
• A valid driver’s license
