Position Overview

Are you a people person with a passion for organization and creating memorable first impressions? We’re seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming face of our company. In this pivotal role, you’ll support daily office operations and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, professional environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality will help ensure our front desk runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Pay Range: $15–$17 per hour, based on experience.

 

What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist visitors warmly, whether in person or by phone, making every interaction positive and professional.
  • Manage a multi-line telephone system, efficiently directing calls and handling inquiries.
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling to support meetings and events.
  • Maintain a secure environment by following check-in procedures for all guests.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages for postal and overnight courier services.
  • Receive, sign for, and distribute incoming priority shipments and packages.
  • Respond to internal requests promptly, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Support supervisors with daily tasks and special projects, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Keep your workspace organized and inviting.
  • Handle filing, copying, sorting, scanning, and archiving of records and tickets.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Maintain training records and logs.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks as needed.
  • Consistently attend work at assigned times, contributing to a reliable team environment.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as they arise—every day brings something new!

 

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience supporting managers or equivalent education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong customer focus, interpersonal savvy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license that meets state requirements.
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures and willingness to wear PPE when required.
  • Flexibility to assist co-workers and supervisors as needed.
  • Punctuality and reliability in reporting to work on time.

 

Physical & Work Environment

  • Communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.
  • Use a computer for word processing and presentations.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and occasionally lift/push/pull objects up to 10 lbs.
  • Work in a standard office environment with typical equipment (copiers, fax machines, mail sorters, multi-line phones).
