This is a rotational position where you will learn our business from the inside, and potentially transition to an outside sales rep in 2-3 years.  You will train and serve as an inside sales rep, while also providing field support to our outside sales reps (display building, customer visits, trade shows, etc.)   Must have outstanding people skills, high energy and a positive "can do" attitude.  On the inside, you will answer phones/emails, take orders and follow up on sales quotes/contracts, coordinate with production scheduling materials to meet the needs of the customers.  This position will also serve as the primary contact for all customer sample requests.

This is an important position as many times you are often the first point of contact with our customer both in person and on the phone.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Enter customer orders and deliveries in computer system
  • Point of contact for all customer sample requests
  • Ensure sales are meeting appropriate margins
  • Assist in annual pricing review review/set up
  • Assist in yearly sales strategies
  • Attend industry trade shows
  • Assist sales with display building 
  • Respond to customer requests 
  • Provide sales quotes and sales contracts
  • Handle incoming customer calls and provide customer service to all customers
  • Provide customers with product information and literature
  • Identify, research, and resolve customer issues 
  • Assist outside sales representatives with quotes, sales contracts and product availability
  • Serve as back up (vacation coverage for our Traffic Clerk position at our manufacturing facility in Shakopee



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Willing to take on projects outside of normal everyday operations 
  • Great with people-warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone 
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 
  • Strong customer service and can-do attitude - willing to do it all
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Team player - ability to share information within the department and company 
  • High energy and likes to stay busy
  • Enjoy and take pride in providing the best customer service
