Summary

 

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources. The Recruiter is responsible for supporting recruitment activities across the Preferred Materials Region.

The Recruiter will contribute to the business success through strategic leadership in all recruitment activities, including developing the PMI Recruitment Strategy & Calendar, ATS management, candidate screening, hiring manager support, metrics assessment and analysis and in partnerships with the HR team.  The primary focus of this role will be candidate attraction and to support the hiring managers in the recruitment process.

Travel will be required between the multiple locations.  Spanish bilingualism is a preference.

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities

 

Be the primary lead for all recruitment activities within Preferred Materials, which will include:

  • Developing the PMI hourly recruitment strategy
  • Reviewing and assessing all resumes using the company ATS
  • Develop and use candidate screening tools to ensure qualified candidates are presented to the hiring managers
  • Assist in all candidate pre-screening activities (either via phone or other technologies)
  • Develop/update and ensure the use of interview guides for the use of the hiring managers
  • Identifying relevant career fairs and other related partnerships (in coordination with the HR leaders)
  • Coordinate the maintenance of Job Descriptions with the local HR Managers
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the HR Team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company’s reputation as “employer of choice”
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Requirements

 

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical
  • Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document

 

Qualifications

 

Education:  Bachelor's/University Degree (Highly Preferred)

Preferred field of study:  Human Resources Management, Business or a related field

Work Experience:  3 or more years

Computer Skills:  Technologically savvy, with a full understanding and fluency in computer applications including word processing, email, internet searches, database and presentation software (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Acrobat Pro)

  • Ability to use discretion, sound judgment and maintain strictest confidentiality when handling sensitive materials and information

  • Experience working with outside vendors and outsourced contractors
