Position Overview


Leviat is searching for a Director of Marketing to conceive, implement, monitor, and evaluate marketing strategy, including websites, social media, advertising, and creation of sales tools and presentations.  Reporting to the President of North America the Director of Marketing will lead a small team to manage Leviat’s well established product brands which have a history of innovation and performance.


The Director of Marketing will have a thorough understanding of the product marketing mix and to apply this to make strategic marketing plans.  This role will be well versed on the competitive landscape and be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. A successful candidate will have a strong insight into our customers knowing who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria and possesses a unique blend of marketing, business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. The Director of Marketing role will be highly collaborative and enjoy working in a decentralized environment, spending time in the market to understand market problems, and finding innovative solutions for the broader market.




  • Directs and implements the organization’s marketing campaigns and initiatives across all departments including but not limited to Product Management, Sales, and Human Resources.
  • Develop marketing material and sales enabling tools to support product and commercial strategies 
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with product strategies
  • Help drive specifications (i.e. MasterSpec, BSD SpecLink, BIM configurators)
  • Support digital transformation journey – determine suitable digital solutions (configurators, website, portals, etc) to support product strategies and market needs, create a roadmap and work with digital engineering team on implementation.
  • Provide pricing guidance by utilizing market research, studying competition dynamic, market trends and reviewing sales volume
  • Manage marketing and advertising budget and establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness
  • Support branding strategy, ensuring consistency through all channels and segments
  • Collaborates with senior executives and internal departments to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Recruits, trains, and manages staff in the department, including but not limited to overseeing tasks, communicating marketing plans and goals, coaching, discipline, and development.
  • Identify relevant industry in-person and virtual events that align with the marketing strategy. Lead the preparation and execution including strategy, exhibition, content, staffing and other necessary duties to complete a successful event.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans for multiple product lines in collaboration with Product Managers.


Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience
  • Subject matter expert/industry experience in building products manufacturing preferred
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to senior leadership
  • Analytically minded with a track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job
  • Collaborative, team oriented and skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a decentralized matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Some travel necessary, approx. 10-15%
