Primary Job Function 

 

  • This is an on site, in office position Monday - Friday.
  • Process sales and rental orders by supporting our Customer Service Team and our customers. 

 

Essential Job Duties

 

  • Receives, records, and routes customer orders/changes in appropriate manner

  • Assists with quotes, orders, credit, shipping issues, and customer disputes.

  • Enters the appropriate customer and billing information in CRM.

  • Handles the processing of orders with timeliness and accuracy.

  • Monitors order board to ensure all orders are processing and will be shipped by committed time.

  • Assists in answering incoming customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner as needed.

  • Contacts customers when necessary to follow-up on customer issues or orders/quotes

  • Maintains working knowledge of products and/or services

  • Documents all contacts, actions, and responses in customer database

  • Organizes and maintains file system; files correspondence and other records

  • Prepares reports and correspondence as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 2 years order processing and sales support.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient on [Microsoft word and excel]

  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

 

Decision Making

 

  • Referring to state and federal regulations and Company policies, the incumbent is expected to make basic day-to-day decisions and take action as needed. 

  • Works under direct supervision.

 

Physical Demands

 

  • Sitting, standing, and walking are required. 

  • Some duties require bending, stooping, crouching, pulling, and/or pushing. 

 

Visual Demands

 

  • Average visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate business office machinery. 

  • Frequent reading/close-up vision required.

 

Auditory Demands

 

  • The typical noise level for this position is moderate, due to office activity, printers, and light traffic. 

  • Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

 

Repetitive Motions

 

  • Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and fingers. 

  • Examples include actions such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. 

  • Continuous operation of computer and telephone.
