Position Overview:

Reporting to the Billing Coordinator, the Readymix Billing Specialist performs a wide variety of clerical responsibilities with billing and sales administration.


Key Respbonsibilities:

  • Validate customer sales orders and create associated invoices
  • Verify and process point  of sale tickets on a daily basis
  • Process daily and weekly custimer invoices
  • Provides customer with appropriate product and project documentation
  • Work with field operations team to improve customer service
  • Speical projects are assigned
  • Perform SOX verifications weekly
  • Scan tickets
  • Process adjustments as needed
  • Scan Adjustment Paperwork and index
  • Enter payables for incoming materials when applicable
  • Other routine office duties as needed or requested
  • Backup receptionist
  • Billing back up for other two lines of business

  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manual
  • Strict adherence to Dolomite policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.



  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent phone manners and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of job duties simultaneously
  • The initiative to cross train and learn new tasks as assigned
  • Good attendence and having a positive attitude
  • Dependable and timely


Work Requirements:

Ability to communicate sufficiently to be able to convey and exchange ideas, and to give and recieve details verbal instructions.


Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Basic Accounting knowledge is preferable, but not required
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills


Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work on a computer using fingers and hands to make key strokes. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk.
