Position Overview

The Sales & Billing Administrator reports to the local Sales Manager and will be responsible for successful execution of the required sales responsibilities, providing administrative support for the entire sales team, and conducting billing processes.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for follow through and execution of the full sales cycle with assigned list of customers and designated customers segments  
  • Responsible for the communication, research, and deliverables requested through inbound sales inquiries
  • Supporting the Outside Sales Reps with day to day responsibilities and help manage the teams CRM platform with a high level of accuracy
  • Communicates with the sales team to manage and coordinate sales to customers
  • Prepare customer communication and provide informational data such as concrete submittals in response to customer requests  
  • Assist the Sales team with research including pulling statements, printing invoice copies, pulling ticket copies, researching short paid items
  • Verify and process point of sale tickets on a daily basis
  • Process daily and weekly customer invoices
  • Work with sales, customers, and operations to resolve customer invoice issues
  • Completing write-ups for RMC Sales Team and submitting adjustments to Billing Coordinator (or Billing Specialist) for processing
  • Send cash sale reconciliation to Accounts Receivables as needed
  • Follow up on credit issues with customers and resolve discrepancies with billing department
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting Research (Online Research using Planning Boards, Builders Exchange, CMD/Insight, Customer Websites, Dodge, McGraw Hill, etc.)
  • Tracking Bids and Managing Data Entry for projects, customer information
  • Create and maintain Strategic Opportunity and Account Plans for key and prospect accounts.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence throughout the region.
  • Must foster a collaborative team-based approach.

  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
  • Must be willing to work weekends when necessary.
  • Strict adherence to Dolomite Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Dolomite Rules and Regulations.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Dolomite employees.

Education/Experience

Associates or equivalent from two year college or Bachelor’s degree or two to five years relevant experience. 

General Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to and from the job site.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

Have proficient computer skills with web based applications, Excel and MS Office products.
