Job Summary
APAC-Atlantic, part of CRH’s South Division is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Specialist to support our growing National business. Based in the Savannah, GA , this role will become an integral part of expanding our People Operations. Reporting directly to HR, this position works with a broad range of human resources activities for APAC-Atlantic including hiring, onboarding, training and policy administration. This is a developmental role with high growth potential, ideal for candidates looking to lay a foundation for a career in HR within our business.
Job Responsibilities

Maintains a professional demeanor in dealing with critical/confidential information; restricts discussion/knowledge of activity to a "need to know" basis.
- Processing administrative data related to new hire processing, employee benefits enrollment, payroll, life event changes, open enrollment & general changes & maintenance within the company’s HRIS systems.
- Assists with the hiring process, including composition of job postings, advertisements and descriptions, screening of applications/resumes, interviewing of candidates, as well as offer letter preparation.
- Facilitates onboarding including coordinating screens and conducting new hire orientations. Ensures proper paperwork is completed and forwarded to the appropriate personnel. Maintains electonic database of human resouces forms and employment records.
- Running & providing business partners with periodic HR, Talent Mgt. & Payroll auditing reports. Frequent communication, written & verbal with employees and site managers.
- Act as a resource for escalated employee questions or issues related to the full scope of benefits. Coordinates with HR leaders & APAC-Atlantic benefits group to ensure thorough issue investigation & resolution for all level of employees within the department.
- Supports business as needed to ensure data integrity of electronic employee records within BenefitSolver, Success Factors & any other employee database.
- Coordinates employee engagement events as well as regular attendance with recruiting engagements or job fairs in the surrounding area.
- Communicates with business HR Managers regarding HR related projects & deadlines.
Requirements
- Degree in Business or Human Resources (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Minimum two years of experience in HR administration
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Proficient verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a stressful, deadline driven, fast-paced, professional environment
- Ability to work independently without supervision and proactively seek to solve problems
- Must have the ability to create scheduled and ad hoc reporting Experience with Payroll/HR/Benefits electronic record systems
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
