Position Overview
Our paid internship program provides a rich and rewarding hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to make a contribution to our organization. Our interns work in their course of study under close direction of an experienced supervisor/manager. Our Accounting Interns will assist the Accounting Team with a wide range of projects. 


Duration: This is a temporary internship for Summer 2024


Wage: $18 - 22/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Assume responsibility for plant accounting.
  • Weekly/Monthly Production entry.
  • Inventory accounting.
  • Cost review and analysis.
  • Reconciliations.
  • General journal entry.
  • Timely posting of Bill of Ladings and inventory transfers.
  • Work closely with Controller to ensure accurate reporting and timely completion of tasks.
  • Work closely with accounts payable department to ensure accurate inventory costing.
  • Assure that the assigned day-to-day operations are carried out in accordance with established accounting principles, policies, and objectives.
  • Strict adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley and company policies.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicants must be entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year and currently enrolled in an Accounting or related program of study
  • Must be available to work approximately 40 hours per week
  • P.C. knowledge required specifically Excel and Word for Windows.
  • Organizational and excellent communication skills required.
  • Must pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
