Tangibly leads the operations team toward process simplicity and consistency.  Utilizes common process development and optimization tools such as statistical process control, experiment design, and lean manufacturing concepts.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Comply with OSHA and company safety and hygiene standards
  • Inspects operations for compliance to standards
  • Support a zero-incident culture



  • Integrate customer requirements for products into manufacturing process
  • Deploy and maintain common process controls such as statistical process control and standardized work
  • Utilize common process optimization tools such as statistical analysis and experiment design



  • Visual management systems
  • Operations metrics and training
  • Lean process improvement implementation –

Provide planning, training, mentoring, and oversight to plant level teams executing lean process improvement activities.  Participate and lead activities/events as required.  Conduct training kaizen events.  Provide training on 5S and lean tools and techniques as required.  Provide follow up and tracking to insure identified improvement activities are completed as planned.

  • Capital Project Scope and Cost Estimate –

Define and document project scope and cost estimate.  Assist in preparing request for capital expenditure (CAPEX) and securing its approval.


Education/Experience Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • 2-5 years of manufacturing experience


Skill Requirements


  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Highest ethical standards
  • Use of basic hand tools:  wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, etc…
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to include practical use of statistical process control
  • Common MS Office applications
  • Design of experiments – Introduction through Advanced
  • Effective team builder and leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team within a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with factory operating and maintenance personnel to understand their requirements and provide solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, persuasion, leadership, and training.
  • Practical, hands on approach
