Job Summary
This position involves leading a small team of employees to operate a CNC machine (Computer Numeric Controlled). The machine is used to drill and cut holes and notches in glass panels. The operator will track, locate and record fabrication production according to schedules. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3-4 employees to operate a CNC machine
  • Organize workflow and ensure employees understand duties and tasks
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise throughout shift
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiencies and increase productivity
  • Perform various production duties including:
  • Set up CNC machine to perform proper fabrication according to work orders and schedules
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Process work orders by due dates provided
  • Properly and safely load and unload raw glass to and from the CNC machine
  • Complete daily worksheets and forms
  • Calculate necessary measurements and inspect work
  • Inspect glass for any defects
  • Ensure machine is in good working order, perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery
  • Adhere to all company safety policies



  • Must have 5 years of experience operating a CNC machine (CNC G Code Programming is a plus)
  • Must have proven leadership skills
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to read and perform calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated 


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, push, pull, and reach frequently
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
