Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting with compliance and reporting requirements. Success in this role demands a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the capacity to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy, including job costing and inventory processing
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare schedules and reports to support financial statement preparation
- Provide documentation and analysis to support audit request
- Assist with compliance reporting, tax filings and other regulatory requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Contribute recommendations to improve financial processes and efficiency
- Complete ad-hoq reporting and analysis as assigned
Other Requirements
- Work effectively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues and supervisors as needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and external stakeholders
- Adhere to company policies and safety practices
- Comply with GAAP standards and applicable regulations
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
- Limited travel and ability to work evenings or weekends during peak periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- Proven experience in accounting or related financial role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook); experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person
