Summary

 

We are seeking a full-time Production Lead/Set Up Operator to work in the production department of our Hazleton facility. The Production Lead is mainly responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machinery and equipment, as well as, assisting other operators in similar activities. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist Supervisor with production goals and expectations 
  • Monitor established production, inventory, and quality control standards 
  • Help support and encourage positive employee morale 
  • Support Supervisor with analyzing work orders to determine material and machine to be used
  • Participate in development in work plans 
  • Participate in setting up and operating a variety of machines and equipment
  • Enforce safety regulations 
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of equipment
  • Other job duties may be assigned as needed

Physcial Demands

 

  • Lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling
  • Working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, cold, dust and nose

 

Required Education / Experience:

 

  • High school Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous leadership team roles preferred
