Position Overview


At Leviat Digital Engneering is a key enabler of our ambitious business strategy and the Digital Engineering Coordinator is a key member of our Digital Engineering team. Your main task is to manage projects related to the creation of new or maintenance of current engineering software, while collaborating closely with the responsible product development, R&D departments, internal and external developers. The software solutions will be delivered for use by our internal engineering departments and external engineering offices


Key responsibilities


In this role you'll:


  • Assist in initiating and setting up new software application projects and ensuring that the projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Utilise your experience as an engineer, you'll work with the product managers/leaders at a detailed level, to collect and analyze software changes or upgrade requests, creating proposals and action plans for the software developers.
  • Be change-minded with process experience in lean/agile software development concepts.
  • Engage with and manage multiple stakeholders including the R&D department, engineer end-users and developers.
  • Prepare project status meetings, on current state, next steps and possible risks and to effectively communicate the status.
  • Collaborate with internal and external developers to analyse requirements and development effort, to be able to effectively manage the project.
  • Lead the Digital Engineering support resource that supports the countries on specific requests and user queries.
  • Be a key contributor to conceptual design of new software applications
  • Keep abreast of R&D on digital construction and arising trends


Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience


  • A 360-degree view of the customer
  • Background knowledge of CAD systems/modeling paradigms, CAD data formats, basic computational geometry (Autocad, Revit, Tekla, Inventor or others)
  • Project Management skills
  • Engineer /architectural training diploma or several years of experience in this field in a similar position
  • Industry 4.0 knowledge and the ability to apply this to software applications
  • Good communication skills in English 
  • A positive attitude, open minded and accessible team player
  • Software development knowledge and experience
  • An interest in IT/ Software Development and IT security principles
  • Experience of Office365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A strong problem solving ability and analytical mindset
  • A Keen interest in digitalisation and the automation of engineering and architectural processes
