Position Overview 

CRH are continuing to grow their IT department and now an exciting new opportunity has arisen. The Service Management & Adoption Specialist will ensure that the Office 365 platform is up to date through the enablement of new features released by Microsoft which are considered relevant and beneficial for CRH. As the successful candidate you will drive the adoption of the Office 365 products across CRH in Europe acting as both a subject matter expert and a thought leader. You will be responsible for maintaining the service catalogue including optimisation of processes that support the delivery of the services.

 

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for a number of tasks including: 

  • Maintaining the end user and technical service catalogue for Collaboration (O365 and Okta)
  • Ensuring all end users and IT managers understand processes related to Collaboration
  • Management and ongoing development of the O365 training academy which includes the coordination of training with the vendors and OpCos
  • Understanding the O365 roadmap from a technical, end user and data privacy perspective
  • Developing  relevant communications and educational guides and/or articles related to O365 and Okta changes
  • Developing engagement plans for all end users and smaller communities for O365
  • Identifying, developing and supporting on CSI initiatives for the Collaboration Platform
  • Supporting  and leading  on merger and acquisition activities as required

 

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to engage, influence and negotiate with people at all levels
  • Deep knowledge of the full O365 product suite
  • Ability to lead training sessions or initiatives
  • Knowledge of service management principles would be considered an advantage as are advanced project manage skills
  • Flexibility in approach
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, full life-cycle awareness and exposure
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Experience of being able to work across multi-cultural teams to achieve results
  • Experience of understanding, interpreting and managing customer expectations
  • Proven experience of being able to prioritise workload  
  • Language: English (fluent) Desirable: Second European language (preferred)
  • It is likely that you will have a university degree or equivalent experience in an IT related discipline with 5-7 year of experience across the entire O365 platform
