Mission
The Master Data Manager ensures the integrity, consistency, and governance of master data across systems (SAP, MDG, Concur, Betsy). This role supports operational efficiency and compliance by managing accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and validation of vendor, customer, employee, and inventory data, while driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee master data operations and ensure accuracy across multiple systems.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards and compliance procedures.
- Monitor data quality, perform regular checks, and resolve complex data issues.
- Support automation and system integration initiatives related to master data.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, HR, and other departments for timely data setup.
- Train and guide Master Data Specialists, ensuring best practices.
- Report on master data KPIs and improvement opportunities to Finance leadership.
Skills and Abilities
- Education & Experience: University degree in finance, business, accounting, or engineering; minimum 3 years in finance operations or data management.
- Technical: Strong knowledge of SAP and MDG; familiarity with Concur, Betsy; understanding of data governance principles. Proven experience in SAP implementation projects, including end‑to‑end master data migration (data mapping, cleansing, validation, and cutover preparation). Experience in process improvement.
- Behavioral: Leadership and coordination skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, effective communication, ability to manage multiple priorities, resilience, and adaptability.
- Other: Fluent in English; experience with large data sets and cross-functional collaboration.
