Position Overview
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Performs machinery maintenance and repairs.
- Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens.
- Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc.
- Repairs conveyor problems.
- Greases moving machine parts.
- Performs crusher machinery set up and take down which includes running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, assembling/disassembling machinery, operating skid steer to move parts, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.
- Help maintain the operation of the crusher.
- Keeps crusher machinery area clean of debris and shovels aggregate.
- Operates equipment to include skid steer (and loader if trained).
- Moves excess materials from around the crusher machinery.
- Uses various equipment, hand and power tools.
- Picks up and/or delivers construction materials at job site locations.
- Performs job site clean-up.
- Maintains all tools and equipment in safe and clean condition.
- Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in aggregate production, construction, mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and moving machinery.
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn crushing operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work weekends as per the needs of the business.
- Valid driver's license preferred.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work around dust, noise, vibration, and moving equipment while wearing required PPE.

- Quarry and aggregate production setting.
- Overtime, weekend work, and seasonal schedule fluctuations may be required.
