Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, accurately, efficiently and safely.
- Clean up around plant and surrounding area.
- Cutting grass, weed control, landscape maintenance and snow plowing / salting at all of our HMA locations.
- It will also include building maintenance including painting, power washing, small plumbing repairs, etc. This is a year round position so working out doors in different weather conditions is a must.
- Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
- Applicant will be responsible for the care and the maintenance of their equipment
- Ability to follow directions.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Work Requirements
- Strict Adherence to safety requirements, procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies
- Applicant needs to have at least a chauffeur's license, clean driving record and be drug free to drive company truck. Applicant will need at least three to five years of experience in both landscaping snow plowing and some handyman knowledge.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Fabricating and Welding
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and fill out routine paperwork.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires time spent walking, standing, bending, lifting and sitting.
Work Environment
- This position will work outdoors on a job site in extreme weather conditions.
