PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The Sales Manager is responsible for both sales/ pre-sales, and shall collaborate with technical, marketing and specifications team.
- This role is based in either Cebu/ Davao but involves regular travel to our Manila office for key meetings, training sessions and other business- related matters.
- They must provide customers with technical advice on the use of Leviat brand products and to exploit market opportunities leading to increasing brand awareness.
- They shall develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders under Leviat construction accessories product segments primarily focusing on REBAR COUPLERS & PRECAST TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS.
- They will have to regularly update market intelligence reports on relevant construction industry and competition.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sales & business development for existing/ new products and application fields; not limited to Structural, Façade, Industrial, Data Centre, Infrastructure, Buildings, Precast, Tunnelling, MEPF, Power and Renewable Energy.
- Conduct presentations in coordination with Technical Department.
- Research on local construction methods and country specific construction methods.
- Preparing and working on proposals for quotations, bids or tenders.
- Organize seminars for customers/ design institutes / external product training.
- Participate in related exhibitions / trade fairs / seminars and related events.

KEY FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Possess Degree in Civil/Structural engineering or Mechanical engineering.
- Relevant working experience in related fields — sales, construction, engineering & design, architecture and building materials including hands-on and report/document writing would be an advantage.
- Technical product knowledge in building materials / construction accessories.
- Exposure to Multinational Culture | Work Environment.
- Committed and have displayed a sense of urgency to respond to customers.
- Goal oriented, analytical, self-motivated, confident, proactive, and initiative. The ability to be flexible, decisive, and quick-thinking.
- Committed, responsible, multitask and able to work under stress.
