Job Summary

 

As a Sales Estimating Coordinator with Oldcastle Infrastructure, you will bridge the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing execution by developing detailed technical drawings for precast concrete structures. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams, you will interpret project plans, prepare shop drawings, review specifications, and help ensure projects move seamlessly from estimate to production.

 

Job Location

 

  • This is an on site role located in Fredericksburg, VA

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Preparing submittal drawings and production drawings for precast concrete components like storm water catch basins, drop inlets, sanitary manholes as well as specialty structures
  • Reviewing and analyzing construction documents, including specifications and addenda
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure accuracy and consistency of designs
  • Assisting with material take-offs, hardware details, and other tasks related to the precast production process
  • Checking drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards
  • Making necessary changes to drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or the production team.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of precast concrete design and construction principles
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Programs (word, excel, outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Compensation

 

  • Base salary is $50,000 - $75,000 per year ​​
  • Bonus opportunity- Annual Target 5%
