Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Master Data Analyst to join our Record-to-Report (R2R) team. The MDM Customer Analyst plays a vital role in acquiring new customers by verifying and validating their information during the onboarding process. This position is crucial for ensuring a seamless transition for customers and enhancing their overall satisfaction. The Customer Master also updates existing customer records to guarantee that all information is accurate and complies with relevant policies. Additionally, they perform compliance checks to maintain data quality and integrity.
What Shared Services Does:
A Shared Services Center (SSC) centralizes essential business processes, creating streamlined operations, cost efficiencies, and consistent quality. By consolidating areas such as finance, procurement, payroll, and reporting, SSC fosters innovation, supports strategic goals, and enhances organizational effectiveness. SSC’s primary functions include:
- O2C (Order-to-Cash): Ensures smooth revenue processes from customer order to payment.
- R2R (Record-to-Report): Provides accurate financial reporting and robust accounting processes.
- P2P (Procure-to-Pay): Ensures timely payments to vendors and strengthens supplier relationships.
- Center of Excellence: Champions innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Shared Services empowers companies to focus on strategic priorities while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Master Data Management
- Design intelligent validation tools to cross-check customer details against internal policies and external databases (e.g., Sanctions Lists).
- Architect and develop RPA bots and AI-driven workflows to automate customer account setup (billing, shipping, sales org).
- Build and maintain automation programs that ensure data integrity and consistency across ERP/CRM platforms.
- Develop automated solutions for verbal verification processes and document validation through Informatica MDM integration.
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain and enforce compliance documentation standards by ensuring all customer records, validation procedures, and audit trails are accurately logged, regularly updated, and aligned with internal governance policies and external regulatory requirements
- Develop RPA-driven reporting solutions to track customer master changes and prevent unauthorized manual updates.
Communication & Coordination
- Partner with Sales and Finance teams to design workflow automation platforms that resolve missing documentation issues.
- Create onboarding and training tools, including AI-powered self-service portals and chatbots, to enhance customer experience.
Audit & Reporting
- Develop automated audit trails and anomaly detection systems to support internal and external audits.
- Build cloud-based reporting dashboards to maintain compliance documentation and logs with minimal manual intervention.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or, Statistics (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP in a shared services environment (required).
- Experience in finance and accounting functions (preferred).
- Familiarity with designing and standardizing transactional processes (preferred).
- Working knowledge of the building products/construction industry (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with confident, informed decision-making.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and leverage technology for efficiency gains.
- Familiarity with data governance, quality, and stewardship principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and customer service excellence.
