Position Overview
CRH’s Recruitment team operates across different divisions and will also service the Benelux cluster as of 2025. The recruitment team based in Amsterdam is looking for a Senior Recruiter to take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for Benelux. You will focus on all type of roles such as Commercial, Finance, HR, Procurement and HSE, as well as more technical and operational roles. You will work closely with the recruitment team in the Amsterdam HQ and will occasionally work together with recruiters from the other divisions. You will also work closely with the HR teams and hiring managers from the operating companies and regularly travel to the several sites across the Benelux. This is a demanding and rewarding role, and we are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As Senior Recruiter, you will typically be involved in carrying out the following activities:
- Working closely with your stakeholders to deliver a quality recruitment service. This includes determining the role to be recruited, key skills and accountabilities and writing compelling advertisements that drive responses via job boards and social media.
- In order to attract a suitable level of talent for vacancies, you will also be required to contact candidates directly using direct searching tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and CV libraries.
- Managing the hiring process from end to end, which includes placing advertisements, acknowledging all responses, screening and interviewing candidates against key criteria, and presenting shortlists to hiring managers.
- By using an Applicant Tracking System daily, you will ensure candidate information is updated regularly and kept in line with GDPR regulations.
- Scheduling interviews and feedback calls is an important part of the role, so you will need to be organised, and able to plan your workload effectively.
- Suggesting and implementing ideas which make us more effective as a team will be part of your job and from time to time you may be involved in broader projects that support talent acquisition.
- Managing multiple recruitment campaigns at different stages of their life cycle. The role can be dynamically busy and you will need to be able to manage and control all vacancies and candidates.

Key Characteristics
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with broad recruitment experience within an in-house or agency environment. Experience in industrial/technical environment is beneficial for understanding OpCo needs. Using an ATS system and of following recruitment processes is essential.

Experience / Education
You are/have:
- Educated to a bachelor degree level
- 3 – 5 Years of Recruitment experience (in-house)
- Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
- Willing to cooperate in international projects
- Willing to travel to operating company locations across the Benelux
