Position Overview
The Analyst is an important administrative role reporting to, and supporting the Network Services Manager and the wider Network team and the Infrastructure & Operations functions.  Ensure general management of the Network budget, including purchase request and invoicing processes.  Work with vendors to ensure that they performing in line with contractual agreements, and support with monthly metrics and performance reporting.  Be a point of contact for general network requests and assist with the prioritisation and response to Network Demand and Project Portfolio requests.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Support the Network Services Manager to ensure delivery of the network portfolio of services.  
  • Ensure vendor relationship is maintained, and manage the relationship and service management cadence.
  • Ensure the network budget is tracked effectively with sharp focus on Purchase Request, Invoicing and Recharges.
  • Work with the network team and the wider I&O functions to ensure resources capacity is tracked and communicated.
  • Support the response to and delivery of Demands and Projects of all sizes and ensure that these projects meet the network requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the road-map for vendor approach in the networking function.
  • Assist with the maintenance of accurate network asset register.

 

Stakeholders: I&O Leadership Team; Cross-functional IT teams; Senior leadership (various) as required to support projects and initiatives.
Travel expectations: Occasional travel (10%) is expected in this role.

  • Proficient with MS Office, and aptitude for learning new software and systems

Experience / Education
You are/have:

  • Required Education: Degree level or other relevant education.
  • Experience: 5+ years in an IT team or office administrative role.
  • Proven experience of working in a federated matrix model.
  • Language: English (fluent) Desirable: Second European language (preferred)
