Position Overview
The role will provide high quality operational and technical support for the ServiceNow Platform. It will ensure that the ServiceNow platform is maintained up to date and leverage as much as possible the use of the standards within the platform and minimize custom development. It will work closely with other workstream leads to define, develop, implement and embed support processes. It will report to the ServiceNow Platform Manager and work closely with other leads of Process and Operations team to maximize the integration with other components and enhance the automation of processes and develop and promote the user self-service approach.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Conduct technical evaluations of strategic and operational demands against the ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and industry-leading practices.
  • Contribute to the goal of reducing maintenance efforts and ensuring upgradability by keeping complexity and customization to a minimum.
  • Develop and control the technical configuration of the solution for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Implement and manage integrations with various systems and tools to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Provide technical guidance to our outsourced practice, perform code reviews and quality control checks. 
  • Maintain high level design documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Promote automation & orchestration of support tasks.


Joint responsibilities with ServiceNow Platform Manager
You are able to:

  • Keep up to date with ServiceNow innovations and assess for implementation on our ServiceNow Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the design and implementation of a platform operating model.
  • Co-manage a clear development roadmap for the year ahead broken down by quarter.
  • Act as a Backup of the ServiceNow Platform Manager.

Experience / Education
You are/have:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM & SPM Modules.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts) and custom application development.
  • Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow workflows, forms, notifications, and reports.
  • Expertise in System Integrations, with a proven track record of successfully integrating ServiceNow with diverse systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience with CMDB/Asset Management preferred.
  • Certified System Administration (essential) & Certified Application Development (desired).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, RPA, or Virtual Agent technologies is a plus.
  • Language: English (fluent) Desirable: Second European language (preferred).

Travel expectations: Limited travel (10%) is expected in this role.
