Summary

 

Leviat North America is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst in Decatur, GA to assist in driving the development and implementation of Leviat’s Procurement strategies resulting in best-in-class quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership. Additionally, the Procurement Analyst supports multiple Manufacturing locations through RFQ execution, supplier negotiations, market analysis, sourcing strategy development, inventory management as well as data gathering and analysis.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Partnering with Director of Procurement in developing and executing long-term category strategies, develop supplier costing models, supplier financial analysis, negotiations, long-term contracts, continuous supplier performance improvement, and supplier relationship development
  • Develop a solid working knowledge of certain commodity trends including industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical/manufacturing processes
  • Work to support the Supplier Development processes including the coordination of continuous improvement activities that drive down total cost
  • Research new or alternate sources of supply as necessary to support new product development, cost reduction requirements, or supplier performance issues
  • Responsible for supply chain analytics to improve overall performance such as service levels, inventory turns, transactional costs, etc.
  • Responsible for data tracking, aggregation, and reporting across Supply Chain functions.
  • Work with teams to develop statistical models and dashboards from multiple internal and external data sources.
  • Incumbent will optimize inventory models to achieve company’s desired service level to the customer while minimizing working capital and transactional costs

 

Qualifications

 

  • 1-3 years work experience in a procurement or supply chain role
  • Strong statistical analysis skills required; previous forecasting and or stocking models preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; able to collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Solid creative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to execute key strategies and manage and prioritize workload, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • ERP system experience is required
  • Experience with analytical software such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or SAP a plus

 

Education / Certifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related degree
  • APICS Certification preferred
