Job Summary


Oldcastle APG is searching for a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to support and drive sales strategies. The Sales Development Manager will partner with local businesses and their leadership teams to help create, manage and execute commercial business plans that deliver growth and improve performance. As the Sales Development Manager, you will connect local teams to national resources and tools to support their commercial performance initiatives. Your key contributions include:


  • Provide training on sales best practices to large and small audiences.
  • Implement Business Intelligence tools, Customer Relationship Management reporting and tracking, and campaign analytics.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve and refresh sales methodology, processes, and tools to enhance the Customer Experience.
  • Support strategic initiatives by developing and executing actionable plans through training and business analytics.
  • Analyze geographic sales territories and identify revenue growth potential.
  • Support the development and delivery of key performance metrics to leadership.


Experience and Qualifications


  • 50% travel nationally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Sales Analyst or in a Sales Development role or similar.
  • Strong familiarity of commercial sale structure in the building materials industry.
  • Experience with Tableau and  
  • Ability to proficiently analyze complex data resulting in actionable deliverables.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Effective presentation skills. Clearly communicates; written and verbal. Ability to adapt message to fit the audience.
  • Building and maintain customer (internal & external) relationships.
